It seems like pretty much all Bobby's accidents fall within two groups, both of which can be solved with better recce/better pace notes. He either a) brakes too late for a turn he can't see over a crest, or b) cuts a corner he shouldn't and takes a wheel off via a hidden rock.

Yep. But that also was the problem with Räikkönen. I takes time to make the perfect pace notes, and the team has to adapt over time.

Agreed. In an interview he did he also said he's being hurt by his inability to practice the course, like he's used to in F1. He's gotten into the habit of being able to do lap after lap and shave off tenths as he figures out the best way around each corner. Now he says he has to try and get all those tenths from each corner the very first time, and it's taking time getting a handle on that.
